Lányos Handmade and a FREE pattern!

What’s that?

Well this is going to be a short post introducing you to my new Shop, Lányos Handmade!

I have opened a fledging shop where I am selling my 100% Handmade Bags and accessories, and the PDF sewing patterns for them (if you like to sew, keep in touch!), and perhaps even workIng with you on a custom order Bespoke bag or accessory that fills all your dreams!!

In the meantime, I’ll be sewing my RTW wardrobe, entering Sewing Challenges, running #designindecember, designing bags, etc. and drafting patterns, along with blogging at “Nice dress! Thanks, I made it!!” and checking out what sewing projects everyone else has been working on! Good thing we are “empty-nesters”!

Oh yes! What’s that about a FREE pattern? Well hop on over to Lányos Handmade right here or click on the ICON for the Lányos Handmade SHOP in my menu and download your FREE copy of my Lányos Coffee© Purse! I’ve blogged about it before here, but here’s a few photos of one I just recently made!

Happy Sewing!

  1. Congratulations Linda! How wonderful of you to share your passions with us all, in yet a different way. I was looking at my card wallet lately & thinking how badly I need to make a new one. Voila! All the bonus features I want in my new one, heavy lifting done for me thanks to you. Good luck with your new venture. (You mean you don’t think your CPP & OAS won’t make ends meet? Imagine, eh?)

    1. Thank you! Let me know how you like the pattern. I’m open to constructive comments for the next pattern. Yes there will be more blogs. I have a pair of jeans that I need to make… I love topstitching! Someone has offered me money to make a bag for her though… you just can’t turn that down!! 😂😂😂 I’ll blog about that bag too.

      1. I have yet to try sewing jeans, it looks so complicated. But I have just made a bag for a friend, and it was very satisfying, especially when you get such praise! Good luck with it all I admire all your enthusiasm. I love being retired and at last being able to make things, including a mess and not worrying! And believe me you never retire! X

        1. Jeans just have to be broken down into little sections, then they are okay. Like any trousers the fitting is tricky though. Congratulations on the bag making success! And silly me, I still have the day job for a while yet, I just wanted to start this now so it would be hopefully something worthwhile by the time I retire. Hopefully I haven’t taken on too much. I can’t imagine it being too busy to start with though? Fingers crossed! 🤞
