Willow Wallet - Zipper can be tricky

I love the look of this wallet! I had many issues with the zipper and zipper pouch, and I don't know if it was because I used a mixture of cork and faux leather in my layers, or because I used a #5 zipper. I prefer the look of the #5 but probably should have gone with a #3 for this one. I watched all 3 videos available for it, and still had some issues. I will probably try another one using just cork and a #3 zipper.

Thank you for your review!
Most of the testers and the pattern designer used #3 zippers to reduce bulk. Also, to reduce bulk, they all used medium weight interfacing & quilting cotton or water proof fabric for the zipper pouches. One of our testers is a leatherworker with proper leather work machinery and tools and they used #5 zippers and water proof fabric for the zipper and zipper pouches
