Have you heard about the Me-Made-May ’14 challenge?  Well I just learned about it and plan on challenging myself during the month of May to wear, each day, at least one sewn or refashioned item of clothing! Can I do it?  Hundreds have already made the pledge!  Can you do it too?

So now it is official…

I, Linda of Nice dress! Thanks, I made it!! sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’14. I endeavour to wear one item of sewn or refashioned clothing each day for the duration of May 2014.

Now please forgive me! This weekend will quite likely be a no sewing, no blogging weekend.  I am signed up for Sunday’s Times Colonist 10k race – me, my sister Bon-Bons, Bootcamp & Fab Fashion,  and thousands of others!

Hopefully the weather will co-operate (no rain) and I make it through in good time!  After that I plan on recuperating on the couch for the rest of Sunday since I will probably be too tired to lift a sewing needle!  Wish me luck!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Write some great posts for me to read while lying around, huh?

      This is the first time for the Challenge for me. I will probably have some repeats but at least I can take a good look at what I have and don’t have in my closet! Best thing about this Run is it has the speedy pros at the front and the walkers at the rear. Everyone is welcome! Those are the best kinds. I figure just as long as we keep moving we are doing great!
