If you’re curious, my quilted jacket is almost finished. I was going to sew in the zipper today, but the layers add up to 2 upholstery, 2 lining, 2 batting, and 2 interfacing, plus the zipper layer. I’ve managed to sew the zipper on to the lining layer, but I will be hand sewing it to the outer batting/upholstery layers. I’ll do a post this week to show you what I mean and show you my finished quilted jacket.
