The Gemma Bag was pretty much the first bag pattern I designed. Why did I start designing patterns? A friend asked me to recreate her favourite bag for her, and as I was sewing I took notes and photos so I could make another one for myself. I simply loved the whole process!
The angled front pocket and the 1″ (2.5 cm) depth of this style intrigued me! I did decide to try it with a 2″ (5 cm) depth too though, just to see if this exact style worked with a wider bag!
