Have you seen what Fadanista has in mind for Designin’ December? What about Mama and Lanie Makes? Pop over and take a look here for Fadanista, and for Mama here, and Lainee Makes here! Have you been blogging about Designin December? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to share!
Have you got your Designin’ December 2022 entry finished yet? Me? Well my top is finished. I don’t want to post photos of it without the jeans though. The jeans? Well I am working hard on making my Helen’s Closet Arden pants “fit”. I love her construction method for the pocket. I’ll have to post in detail about it later. Apparently the drafted pattern and muslin I had in the closet doesn’t fit me anymore so I have to start the fitting process again – that’s ok! The change is for the better! I have been enjoying playing with the special stitches on my Janome MC8200QCP SE though. I better watch out because the deadline is December 31/22 at midnight PST.

Oh, it’s exciting to start to see the other entry posts! The special stitching on your own entry garment looks really nice – I can’t wait to see the whole thing. Those unusual stitches make for some fun finishing. Just to give you a heads up (so I can be counted in), I just published my own entry for the challenge – both on my blog and on Instagram.
Here’s wishing you a lovely New Year, and a big thank you for running the challenge again!
– Kelly
I am limited by the stitches on my machine though so I purchased some iron on embroidery too! I am having fun with it! 😁Thank you very much for the heads up! I love sharing! 🤗
