Oops!

This is just going to be a quick post for now.  Yesterday I was reading blogs of people I had never heard of or seen before and I “liked” one.  Well I thought I liked one.  Apparently I did more than like!  I also transferred a copy of their “About” page over to my blog.  I deleted it quickly when I had realized what had happened. 😳

Of course those “I’ve posted on my blog” email notifications had already been processed, which I didn’t realize until a few kind readers wrote me to say I was broken.  For that I thank you!  And I do apologize for the confusion! ☺️

There is a post in the works.  Perhaps later today.  It is so unexpectedly lovely here that we took a walk/hike in the park yesterday and therefore I am a day behind.

I’ll be back soon, in the meantime Happy Sewing!

(and thank you readers for telling me!) 😍

  1. Funny! Glad it’s not just me who does such daft things with technology 🙂 Though actually, sounds pretty technical, no idea how you achieved this one…

    1. It was a different format, what do you call it a “web hoster”! I liked and commented on her “about” page and there was a “share” button, then I had to sign in with my WordPress ID, then I was down the rabbit hole! I should have gone slower (and put on my glasses?) with a new, different comment system. Speaking of which, if ANYONE has trouble with my comment system (or anything)!, I have an email form on my “about” page – which actually sends an email to me at imadeit362436 (at) gmail (dot) com. I have to go vacuum now, before I’m allowed to sew or blog apparently – the cats are telling me that there is too much of their cat hair flying around and they are getting sneezy! Disgusting huh?

      1. 🙂 Solving the mysteries of the technical world always starts better with the right pair of glasses!

  2. Haha! This sounds like something I would do. (even with my glasses) Glad you’re getting it all sorted out, enjoy a lovely day after eliminated cat hair. 🙂

    1. Thank you! You too! I really must get up off this chair and vacuum! 😟

  3. Glad I’m not the only one! 😜

  4. Haha. I just assumed that a post had escaped before you were ready. This had happened to me a few times. Sometimes technology is s curse!

I actually think that computers are possessed and every so often they just like to mess with us lay people. It’s a power thing but then you would feel the same way if someone was always putting words in your mouth. I will be back to see your finish project once you have unscrambled your blog.

    1. I wholeheartedly agree! 😂 And Thank you for your patience!

  6. I shouldn’t laugh, but I am, I thought I was the only one who pressed the wrong buttons and ended up anywhere!!

    1. And I thought I was “The Only One!” 😂

  7. I knew a guy who took the My computer icon and put it in the recycle bin. I think with all the share, tweet and similar social media buttons mistakes like that can easily be made. I always fear I’m going to block or report someone because I clicked the wrong button. Glad yours is solved 🙂

    1. I would have thought moving My Computer was impossible. They really should make it impossible for people to do that. They should protect them from their errors! I know two people at work who SAVE important documents in the recycle bin. Do the words “recycle bin” not mean GARBAGE? (Just in case they want it back again.). I am freaked out about the “block” button too. As soon as it shows up I have to pause for 5 minutes to try to figure out what I was trying to do! You know, I was hesitant to waste blog space over a silly error, but I did want to say sorry to those few who got a notification that lead no where. Now I am really glad I brought it up! Apparently, I am not alone! 👍😄
