What’s that?
Well this is going to be a short post introducing you to my new Shop, Lányos Handmade!
I have opened a fledging shop where I am selling my unique PDF sewing patterns – if you like to sew, keep in touch!
In the meantime, I’ll be sewing my RTW wardrobe, entering Sewing Challenges, running #designindecember, designing bags, etc. and drafting patterns, along with blogging at “Nice dress! Thanks, I made it!!” and checking out what sewing projects everyone else has been working on! Good thing we are “empty-nesters”!
Oh yes! What’s that about a FREE pattern? Well hop on over to Lányos Handmade right here or click on the ICON for the Lányos Handmade SHOP in my menu and download your FREE copy of my Lányos Coffee© Purse! I’ve blogged about it before here, but here’s a few photos of one I just recently made!

So head on over and grab your FREE PDF Sewing Pattern!
Happy Sewing!

Thank you! It will be slow going but it’s a start!
Good luck for your shop and thanks for the free pattern 🙂
Thank you … let me know, whenever you sew it up. I’d love feedback. I’m working on my next pattern now 😊
How exciting! Lots of luck with your new venture 😺
Thank you! It will be a slow start but I enjoy it so it will be a fun addition to my schedule!
This is brilliant Linda, a nice seque into life after retirement. All the very best!
Thank you kindly, Susan! 😁👍
Just to wish you all the very best, am sure your shop will be a great success! Am going to try your purse pattern soon, many thanks. Look forward to seeing more blogs too!
Thank you! Let me know how you like the pattern. I’m open to constructive comments for the next pattern. Yes there will be more blogs. I have a pair of jeans that I need to make… I love topstitching! Someone has offered me money to make a bag for her though… you just can’t turn that down!! 😂😂😂 I’ll blog about that bag too.
I have yet to try sewing jeans, it looks so complicated. But I have just made a bag for a friend, and it was very satisfying, especially when you get such praise! Good luck with it all I admire all your enthusiasm. I love being retired and at last being able to make things, including a mess and not worrying! And believe me you never retire! X
Jeans just have to be broken down into little sections, then they are okay. Like any trousers the fitting is tricky though. Congratulations on the bag making success! And silly me, I still have the day job for a while yet, I just wanted to start this now so it would be hopefully something worthwhile by the time I retire. Hopefully I haven’t taken on too much. I can’t imagine it being too busy to start with though? Fingers crossed! 🤞
Thanks for the help, will try one day! You shop will be a huge success, dont worry.
